Welcoming our New Finance Director

The Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium Executive Committee is excited to announce that Jaime Pierce has been selected to become our incoming Finance Director. Jaime’s skills and experience will be invaluable to EALS, helping to organize and direct financial matters for the Symposium and our other dynamic events during the year. She is a leader in the AU Arts Management Program, not only as a committed academic but also as a collaborator, dance aficionado, and loyal friend.

Welcome, Jaime!

Jaime Paige Pierce is a Kentucky native who grew up twirling and leaping at dance competitions. She was a student at Interlochen Arts Academy for two years and graduated in 2013. She continued onto the University of the Arts (UArts) where she received a Bachelor of Arts in Dance with honors. Jaime loves writing and was a Writing Fellow at UArts. She is working towards her MA in Arts Management at American University where she is also a Graduate Dance Fellow, specifically the operations coordinator. She is currently a Development Intern at Washington Performing Arts with a focus in grant writing, and has loved learning the ins and outs of grant writing from the Institutional Giving Officer, André Coleman.

Jaime is excited to embark on her next adventure as the Publications/Writing Intern at the Wolf Trap Foundation for the Performing Arts. Her free time is spent drinking bourbon, watching crappy TV, cheering on the Kentucky Wildcats, and talking on the phone with her bichon frisé, Lilly Kate. Jamie is so excited to join the EALS team as Finance Director!
