What is EALS?

The Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium is a day-long event held each spring at American University, giving students and young professionals in the arts an opportunity to engage in dynamic discussion with peers and experienced leaders in the field about the issues, unique or universal, that affect arts organizations.

 

 

When is EALS?

EALS typically takes place on a Saturday in late March/early April.

Who is EALS for?

EALS attracts a wide variety of participants, and anyone is welcome to attend. Many are graduate students in arts management, arts administration, or museum studies programs. Arts professionals, both new to the field and seasoned professionals, also attend. We also welcome undergraduate students and anyone who interested in learning more about arts administration or has an interest in any of our speakers.

Who organizes EALS?

EALS is planned, organized, and executed by a committee of graduate students in the Arts Management Program at American University. If you are interested in joining the committee or helping in any way, email us at auartsymposium@american.edu.

Does EALS have other events during the year?
