Executive Committee Application
We're looking for new AU Arts Management students to join the EALS Executive Committee! EALS has a select number of positions* open for the 2019-2020 school year. Interviews will be held September 4 & 5 in the Katzen Arts Center beginning at 8:15pm.
Along with the Director of Finance & Administration, serves as a key liaison between the EALS committee and AU’s Student Activities office. Assists in tracking financial spending and decisions; managing the procurement and use of a purchase card (PCard), petty cash, and other related payment needs; and administering/organizing contracts. Works with each department for various needs. Keeps minutes at all EALS meetings. Oversees registration for events.
Along with the Executive Director, serves as a key liaison between the EALS committee, the Arts Management Program, and community stakeholders. Assists in organizing the silent auction, running crowdfunding campaigns, maintaining alumni relations, and community outreach. Helps ensure EALS meets fundraising goals and stewards relationships.
Aides in determining and implementing communications strategies, including creating social media plans, making creative and original social media content, managing social media feeds, and writing and editing content for the EALS blog. Provides event coverage for all social media accounts. Works closely with Marketing.
Helps organize logistics for all EALS events, including the Fall Fundraiser, symposium, and other networking events. Works alongside the Director of Programming & Logistics to create detailed logistics plans; helps trouble-shoot and crisis manage during events; and serves as one of the on-site leads for logistics at events.
Aides in developing and implementing marketing strategies for the Symposium and all other EALS events to ensure high awareness and attendance. Assists with graphic design and maintaining the EALS website. Works closely with Communications.
Helps plan programming for all EALS events, including the Fall Fundraiser, symposium, and other networking events. Works alongside the Director of Programming & Logistics to determine event programming; contract vendors, performers, and locations; and serves as one of the on-site leads for event programs.
