EALS at AU presents the 18th Annual Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium

American University's Emerging Arts Leaders (EALS) presents their 18th annual 2024 Symposium: Arts R Us: Reimagining Futures. Held each Spring at the Katzen Arts Center in Washington DC, the symposium aims to educate, empower and entertain rising and established leaders in the arts as we gather together in a community of learning. The Symposium will be held on Sunday, March 23, 2025. We hope you will save the date!
In a world where artificial intelligence reshapes creativity, and cultural as well as generational divides challenge unity, the arts stand as a timeless force for connection. Whether we engage with the arts as spectators, supporters, or creators, it can be found everywhere we look and in everything that we are. This year's symposium reminds us that art transcends boundaries, serving as a universal thread connecting people, places, and cultures. Attendees will leave inspired with action items to build a future together that is led by creativity and with the arts at the forefront.
At the 18th Annual Emerging Arts Leaders Symposium, you can expect:
-
An inspiring keynote speaker to frame the day’s focus.
-
Valuable and actionable panel conversations with experienced arts leaders, representing multiple arts disciplines and a range of issues facing the sector.
-
Networking opportunities to engage and develop new connections with arts professionals.
-
A digital EALS program, which will be updated regularly with schedule announcements and provide an opportunity for continued networking.
